The Coumantaros Art Gallery welcomes expatriates and foreign summer visitors with a guided tour of the temporary exhibition “Lakonian artists from the collections of the National Art Gallery”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guided by the curator of the National Gallery, Monika Diamanti, we get an insight into the life and work of Laconian artists, who are presented for the first time in the Coumantaros Art Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The eleven artists, nine men and two women that make up the exhibition were born or descended from Laconia. It is characteristic that more than half of them are expatriates themselves or have lived a large part of their lives abroad, mainly in the USA and Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In alphabetical order, the artists of the exhibition are: Steven Antonakos, Chios Theodoros ,Chrysa (Bardea), Dekoulakos Ilias, Diplarakou Thalia, Lekakis Michalis, Nikolinakos Michalis, Rorris Giorgos, Roubos Leon, Stamos Theodoros, Faliresa Vasos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guided tour is included in the ticket price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour will take place every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 12.00 noon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
