The National Gallery offers educational programs and organized group guided tours for all social groups. These are designed for all levels of education, as well as institutions and organizations.
Visits are available on weekdays (except Tuesdays) during the museum’s opening hours.
Bookings can be made from the first working day of the previous month for visits taking place in the following month, up to five working days before the desired visit date.
For group visits of more than 10 participants, with or without participation in educational programs or guided tours led by the museum’s specialized staff, advance booking through the National Gallery’s online booking platform is required:

The group booking platform follows a simple reservation process:
- Select the type of visit (with or without a guided tour), the museum building, your preferred date and time, the number of participants, and your institution type (School, University, Organization/Institution/NGO).
- Enter the contact details of the group leader and submit your booking request.
- Once submitted, your request is placed in pending status and reviewed by the appropriate department of the National Gallery.
- Your reservation is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email containing your unique booking reference and the details of your visit.
- On the day of your visit, present the confirmation email at the Group Visits Ticket Desk, where tickets will be issued and paid for, if applicable.
Participant limits
- Educational programs or museum-guided tours: 10–25 participants
- Group visits without participation in educational programs or museum-guided tours: 10–50 participants
- School groups without participation in educational programs or museum-guided tours: 10–100 students
Please note that group or school visits accompanied by an external licensed tour guide or educator must follow the procedure described in Section B: “Requirements for Educational Programs and Guided Tours Conducted by External Providers.”
