He studied at the Law School of the University of Athens from which he graduated in 1957, working in the business sector after that. For five years he took painting lessons from Spyros Papaloukas. His exhibition activity, which started in 1957 at the International Youth Festival in Moscow and the Panhellenio Exhibition at the Zappeion Hall, includes solo shows and appearances in many group exhibitions, both in Greece and abroad.

Landscape has consistently been the subject of his work. In his oils and water colors he renders nature and landscapes of Greece sensitively and sensuously, through an abstract process of schematization and the harmonious placement of units of color.
